The Silent Theatre Festival was first held on September 22, 2024, at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre.
In the first year of the festival, the House of Mask & Mime theatre group used the skills that its members and performers excel in to create their works. Skills such as Mask Theatre, Mime, Clowning, and Physical Theatre were all integrated into the performances, notably in House No.7 and Geek-Gag-Go.

In addition to creating more space and opportunities for Thai artists, the festival also aims to present creative performances by international artists. This provides the audience in Thailand the chance to experience innovative and diverse Non-verbal performances. As part of this, the festival invited Yosuke Ikeda, a world-renowned artist and the creator of the performance Hello and Goodbye, to be a part of the inaugural event.
